  Procedure text is a text that explains, informs, or helps the reader on how to make or use something. The purpose of procedure text is to show how something is made/used/done through a sequence of steps

-Goals

 Goal is a procedure text structure that   explains the intent or purpose.

-Materials

 Materials is a procedure text structure that   describes the tools and materials needed.

-Steps

 Steps contains steps or instructions for   making or doing something.

-Using simple present tense

-Using imperative sentences

-Using conjunctions

-Using adverbs

Procedure Text Type

1. Procedure text that explains how to operate / use something

 Examples: how to use a car, how to use a tv,   how to use a mobile phone.

2. Procedure text that provides instructions  for performing certain activities

 Examples: how to play the piano, how to   make Twitter, and how to make soup.
